Monthly Archives: February 2012

I’m planning to do some screen printing on plain canvas bags.

I order several different sizes and colours. Hopefully I can start printing from next week.

… which means I have to draw more and scan them before next week.

Can any of you spot who this is? If you can spot it… I’ll give you the canvas bag.

This is easy to spot who this is !!!

Sad, depressed, and allergy, but I continued to paint. (Listening to The Radio Dept on my iPod)

A lot to do. Bee wax paste, surprisingly didn’t retard the speed of drying as I presume. Which is good.

Sorry for such a bad quality of the photograph…

I also did this drawing for my friends in Vermont. She is also an artist. And she is a brilliant at baking.

I told her my recipe for Anpan (Japanese Sweet Bean bun). I hope she remembers the recipe.

Moddest, yet skilled friend.

In two weeks time, I’m gonna finally start my gun tufting project.

Helen (constructive textile technician) told me she has already ordered 60kg of yarn..

I can’t imagine how big the 60kg of yarn gonna be…

This is the water colour drawing I gave to Helen for the colour matching. Nice nice!

I’m expecting my friends coming over from Chelsea to discuss each other’s painting issues.

This is the water colour painting I did for her as a gift. I hope she’ll like it.

Even where witches live has traffic jams… which really bothers me.

I went to Borough Market with my friends around 3PM to pick up some good coffee from Monmouth and a shampoo from Aesop.

London Bridge station has changed quite a lot! Very impressed…

At the moment, there are many small nice and good stuff in my studio. I collect things…

I started my day from big oil painting. Well… not exactly.

I started working on oil painting quickly after I went to the constructive textile work shop to ask about gun tufting.

Every time when I make textile work, or think about new textile project it certainly give me really good influence to my other art practices, especially oil painting.

I did some quick doodle tonight, but I really love it.

and I was in good doodle mood… decided to do one more

I would say the first doodle is so much better and it is even better than the water colour I did later in this evening…

but I like them both…

Off to collect the test prints, where is the taxi…

A lot of people asked me ‘why do you depict people?’… I don’t ever try to depict people when I paint.

I always try to paint as photo realistic as possible… perhaps it is just a luck of my painting skill…

You are not nostalgic yet, but I am. You were in my dream this morning, but let’s not consider that as a bad sign.

Certain objects in a room  can give you crazy dreams at night sometime.

I used to have two dream catchers from some Native American souvenir  store, and it used to gave me a plenty of weird dreams…

(I believe those dream catchers are supposed to take bad dreams away?!)

I collect toys, and I just received a new toy from Hong Kong yesterday morning. I think it has already been giving me a lot of weird, yet positive dreams.

I documented my drawing from last Monday which I liked it a lot somehow.

I tend to draw and paint a lot of shoe-gazing people from real life.
